Small bathroom configuration question

My bathroom is around 5'x6' and the toilet is across from a very large vanity cabinet. It's so cramped and I'd like more space. I believe it's already a small toilet-measurement is around 25". I don't want a wall mounted toilet bc they seem to be problematic and costly to install and maintain.

I'd like a smaller vanity cabinet (30"-36" + 18" depth) but the waterline for the sink is close to the shower directly in front of the toilet. Can a contractor move the waterlines over around a foot or more without it showing through the wall or do I need to get another big honking vanity cabinet to hide the water lines? If it were moved- I could put the vanity in the corner and have space in front of the toilet. I'm also open to other suggestions-tia!

do the water lines come out of the floor or the wall? How much drywall is opened up to accomodate htem presently? Yes, someone can extend the water lines pretty simply, but you'd need to get the drywall patched up. I'd definitely spend the $ to move the water lines if i want a smaller vanity.

The lines are coming through the wall-it’s probably about a 8”x8” block for the water lines

Agreed, worth it to have the water lines moved here. Then do a small vanity in the corner, and if space permits, shallow cabinetry in front of the toilet to add back storage. Code is generally 21-24" clear in front of the toilet, and it doesn't look like you're close to that right now. (We aren't either, but it's the first thing I'll change when we decide to tackle that bathroom--though we are going to go the wall-mount toilet route to avoid having the move a bathtub.)

A ”banjo” counter would work well here. I would use only one shelf for towels so that you have plenty of floor showing in front of the toilet for a more spacious feeling.
