Keep in mind LRV has nothing to do with how white a color looks. A higher LRV does not = more white; this will be obvious once you start putting the colors in order by LRV.

Chroma is the attribute you want to pay attention to if you want less colorful. Lower Chroma = less colorful.

Do you have insight on greek villa vs alabaster? Everything I read says greek villa is warmer and will look more yellow. But my samplize just came in and greek villa looks so much brighter and cleaner to me.

Because it is.

Brightness is about lightness. Greek Villa's Value and LRV is greater than Alabaster.

Cleaner is quantified in Chroma. Higher Chroma = more colorful, less grayed/toned down - in other words it's cleaner.

The numbers don't lie or have ulterior motives. ;) Can't say the same about online color reviews.

In the table you can save colors and then select compare. I think the max number of colors to compare is 12, haven't tried it to see if there is a max.

@apb0 Thank you. 🙂 Initially built it for myself - because there isn't another resource for hue, value, chroma. (I should say another resource that does color data values the right way.)

HVC is all I use because they're so much easier to manage than CIE LCh. Which is the only other format that strives to describe color appearance the same way the human eye sees it.
