Could you please tell me the colors of VCT you used? They look perfect!

I love these floors as well. Excellent variation of the classic checker pattern. Which colors did you use by the way for these floors? We are wanting to do something similar with subway tiles, a Teal island and white wall cabinets. Do you think that would work?

This flooring combo has a sage green in the mix. With your teal island, I would stick with a mix of two greys and a white.

Thanks! Got to thinking... since our kitchen is open to dining and hardwoods were planned in dining - not sure if the transition from checker to HD would blend. Looks great in your space since it looks like the kitchen has its own dedicated space/room, ours is open and may then look like it's separate w/change of flooring when we're trying to keep it an open look - do you agree?

Yes. We would keep flooring consistent if your goal is to have one open space. Pull the hardwood right into the kitchen.
