Silestone Miami Vena is on the warm side. It has a bit of a pink tinge to it.

If you have walnut on the island, I might also look at Silestone Et Dor or Silestone Lusso. The latter has a subtle all-over pattern. The former a larger vein pattern, but in a warmer tone that will work well with the walnut.

How about plain white Corian?

How about no plastic counter and real stone lots of choices in granite or IMO even real marble is a bteer choice than fake stone.

I just spent 6 months with the exact same challenge. In the end, and with a fair bit of trepidation, I went with Corian. I was concerned it would look cheap, plastic, and out of place in my pre-war home. They have been in place for two weeks now and I could not be happier and think they look nice in the same space as our walnut counters.

I tested on sample pieces marker, pencil, chili oil, balsamic, wine, tomato sauce, lemon and they all just wiped up with such ease that I decided to just go for it. (I had marble in my last kitchen and was seduced by the ease of Corian.) I'm still giddy when I get to clean these counters.
