It really depends on the size of the pendants. What are the diameters of each example you're showing?

Mcarroll16 the black ones are 23.5 or 15 and the brass ones are 15

Do three of the 15" ones. I like odd numbers better than even ones when it comes to pendant lights. More aesthetically pleasing, IMO.

I agree Sabrina. I like the black ones since they relate nicely to your island color, but still give a touch of the gold on the interior. Very pretty!

I also love the backspash left the natural brick color. It brings in some character. Here are a couple mockups.

I like the 3 black ones with the brick unpainted. Leave it like that for a while to see if you like it, you can always go back and paint the brick but I agree with Debunky-, adds character.

Our fireplace is more of a concrete look and I didn’t know if the brick unpainted would be mixing styles or not go together if that makes sense
