Neat bar area! Beyond that, the space is pretty boring, so do you have any themes or ideas? How do see yourself using the space? TV, pool table, play area for the kids? Any possibility of water getting in? A stone look tile would go well with the wood. Will you do a floor plan please?

Your bar looks very familiar. Have you posted this here before? Here's a great tutorial on color, and at the end there is a little treatise on pink, which you'll have to work with if you're keeping the floor.

You have room for a seating/television area and a game area, but we need to know what you want to do in this space.

If you dont want to deal with floor tile replacement, i would paint the floor (lots of good tutorials online), get a large rug you like and a comfy sectional for movie watching (we have the Ikea kivik 6 seater in anthracite in our basement and that thing is a cozy beast) -

A few leather armchairs would be great too

if you play games or poker or do puzzles, i would add a round table and chairs for that,

A warm off-white for the walls is always nice in a basment - and would look great with the bar (paint trim the same white)

you can also trick out your windows to look bigger with oversized woven blinds and curtain panels that touch the floor (the texture will warm up the room and help with noise)

Concentrate first on furniture and a rug you love. Then find a paint color to tie it all together. I would also try somewhat to ignore the pink in your floor. Get enough rug coverage and I don't think it will be super noticible.
