I recently posted about unsuccessfully sealing my grout after which there was a lot of discoloring. I cleaned the grout just now with some vinegar and water to remove the sealer and it seems some of the sand is coming up after it gets wet. When its dry it's hard to the touch, but when I'm scrubbing it while wet sand is coming up. It doesnt soften completely, just enough to get some particles up. Why is this happening?
I love the tile otherwise, I THOUGHT the installation went pretty well...... tile has been laid for over a month now.
