You have sure beat me, Nancy! I keep looking for scapes on Dumortieri, it usually starts by now. Looks like it may be a late year for flowers. Nice to extend the season later, but I really look forward to those 1st blooms.

I hate to sound like a broken record, but this spring has been one of the most unproductive ones I've ever had because of the weather. I don't think we've had more then 2-3 days in a row that I could get out into the garden from March onwards. I will just start to get on a roll and here comes another cold/rainy front. So Frustrating as I know how it will suddenly shift from this to the 90's.....My Tulips are on the downside of peak. Dafs and Muscari are finished. Dandelions flowering in abundance. Daylilies in pots leafing out like crazy, only to be chopped back when I finally get a shot at repotting them. Who knows when they will flower now...........................Maryl

Thats a nice surprise Nancy! it has been a cold wet spring here. We had sleet yesterday and in a few days the weather person is calling for 80…..my potted hosta are really moving along. it will be interesting to see if this stupid weather affects the performance.

wow, that is a surprise. These weather patterns create havoc but somehow those daylilies keep going on.
