I ordered an Andersen 200 series hinged patio door through Home Depot during our renovation without knowing that this was a multipoint locking system (does not integrate with standard deadbolt keypad solutions e.g. kwikset) and did not come with an exterior keyed entry. I understand that there is a replacement exterior keyed option but I would really prefer to have keypad/keyless entry for this door as we use it regularly as an entry.

I've already contacted Andersen and they told me that they don't offer smart home options for the 200 series doors and my best option would be to use the exterior keyed cylinder. Does anyone have any creative solutions for keyless entry in this situation? Would it be possible to somehow replace the multipoint locking system and just have a standard deadbolt instead? Or would I just have to have one of those realtor key boxes that you unlock with a keypad?

We love the look of the door but it is very annoying not being able to enter the house from the backyard since that's where we park.
