Do you have any particular color family that you're leaning towards? What are other homes in the neighborhood like (i.e. do you want to blend in)? Also, keep in mind that colors appear lighter on the exterior--especially if you're getting a lot of sun in the SW. I painted some of my trim Sherwin Williams Clary Sage and wish I had gone one shade darker.

This is tricky because your house doesn't have a lot of trim, and the trim it has is narrow. But your house definitely needs some pizzazz. How about tan body with crisp white trim and teal blue on the front door and garage door?

I would paint trim white, and body of the house cream color. Your roof looks like it may have brown tones to it, so cream would look very nice on it, and be light. I love the color of a teal door.
