Hi! We need to make a decision on windows for our house remodel and addition. We are going for the craftsman look and we have 3 sets of windows on the first and second floor to figure out….our upstairs will have a distant view of the ocean (we’re about a mile from the coast) so we are thinking a picture window for the middle one Then the question is should the bordering windows be casement or double hung. Kind of prefer double hung utility and style but Can’t decide if the sash in the middle of double hung windows looks weird next to a picture window and if we should consider casement for that reason. We figure we will do a grid along the top of all 3 windows. Would love Anyones thoughts on the decision , thanks !
