i admire your heritage. i bought 5 in spring 2019 with the hopes they would look like yours!

mine is in 4 hours of sun and has performed very underwhelmingly.

How much sun does yours get?

jc_7, mine gets 6hr+ of sun, i do have a person does the spraying for me but heritage doesnt seem that bad with health, it is the poet’s wife that has the poorest health

They are very delicate looking snd blow so fast they dont really linger to a point of being unattractive.

I have grown Heritage twice. The first plant that I bought many years ago was growing but not overly vigorous. It was not the worst but definitely not the best compared to my other roses. Unfortunately I lost her last winter. The second plant which I bought many years later was planted in the front of my house. Now this bush is really vigorous, tall and have so many blooms on it especially after a mild winter. I was pleasantly surprised since my first plant did not make a good impression on me. It is true that the petals scattered fast but I still love it better than my New Dawn. Now trust me, ND petals drop very fast. With Heritage I can at least enjoy a few days of blooms but never with ND.

BTW Hoang, I discover your videos on youtube channel before I found out you are an active member on this forum. I love all the videos you have posted. Keep doing it so we can enjoy more of your garden.

Kitty, am relocating 3 of mine to a spot with more sun in the hopes they turn a corner.

@jc_7a_MiddleTN Wonderful! Relocating usually does the trick! Little more sun fir your Heritages will get them blooming more! ! I am amazed that she blooms all the time almost… just a few blooms but always a new one opening!

It’s fall and my Heritage is still blooming happily w/ about 10 blooms at end of first season of blooms!!!! An ever bloomer! She always has blooms every day as I walk beside her! A fabulous DA-a must have! She is about 5 ft, tall, too ! Vigorous in full sun 6-8 hrs.

Heirloom Roses discontinued Heritage after I bought her from them own root. David Austin Roses , Texas, still sells her!!!!!! Woohoo!
