I have tried several times to grow grapes, never survived the winter, failed each time, but now I have a vine in an unheated greenhouse. It seems like the buds swole some about a month ago, but have stopped. we had some cold temps since then.

when i scratch the vines it looks like it is alive (bright green) and doesn’t feel dessicated. if i know plants, and i know a little bit, the vines are alive. is it possible the buds are dead or damaged, but the canes are ok? just seems like i should be seeing some buds breaking. i have an apple tree in the gh that is breaking bud currently for reference. It is a swenson red
