Cabinet pulls- am I in the correct direction?

Hi i’m planning to install cabinet pulls soon- could you give me your advice pls. Am i in the correct direction?

I have two smaller drawers so i’m thinking 6 inch center ones there but the rest will be 8”.
I think 6” all would look small what do you think?

Here are some visuals:

Whatever you want, you can do! Mine are placed vertically on uppers and horizontally on ALL lowers. Even the doors. Gives it a nice clean look IMO.

And the 6" looks good on your drawers. I'd place a 8" to see how it looks, but I suspect it would be too big.

I like your middle pic for that orientation, but I think the smaller size looks better.

I did very similar sizes and went w/the 6" (I think it was 6 and 3/8" or something)

    these pantry doors I went w/the 8"

    some visuals for you

If you go longer, maybe try moving them up like this:

i like them even w/the rail

IMO I think these are too long

I think of cabinet hardware like jewelry; it's fine to go small & dainty, midrange, or big & bold statement pieces. Like jewelry, would consider overall look.

Most important is what you like!

One of my friend suggested this also but i have a wall with only cabinets no drawers not sure how it would look there:

IMO everything at the top gives a nice clean look. Placing them vertically throws off the balance as the doors dont open all the same direction. Just my OCD maybe…

on those large drawers, the 8" looks fine.

I just think it's way too long for this size door.

if you had extra tall cabs like this one, then that size would be fine.

even on this one it looks fine because it's a double stack. if they didn't have those smaller parts on top of the uppers, this longer size might not look right.

it's fine to use more than one size.

I have 5.5 “ pulls throughout my kitchen cabinetry. It is a personal decision what size pulls you choose.

Very subjective! Do what looks best to you.

In general, for my own home I prefer single pulls for drawers and knobs for doors, but I did all pulls for some of my built-in linen closets.

6" (only top drawers) & 8" on 3-drawer base cabinet

    15" drawer over door cabinet

    18" drawer over trash cabinet

We are finishing a kitchen/laundry/powder room renovation (nightmare, ongoing for 2 yrs due to COVID delays and other issues unearthed during construction). I went with all drawers below counter level but they are varying widths so I have 3 sizes of pulls (6, 8, 10 inches). I used the same pulls on the uppers but did larger on the pantry doors. I like the end look because each pull is proportional to the drawer width. I’ve attached some pics so you can see. Please excuse the ingredients on the counter (chickpea tacos for tonight😁), I didn’t clean before snapping pics. Shelving is also not styled, still working on that - it seems that this is more troublesome than almost any other part of the reno. Good luck, your kitchen will look great!

I have two different sized pulls for my drawers too. I chose knobs for the doors on top but having the same style in 6” and 8” can solve the visual problem of pulls looking too small or too overwhelming. I have drawers as large as 36” and small ones at 15” on my island for spices. Find a style with versatile sizes.
And YES- this is hard! I bought a lot of samples before I found these.

km51571 the pendant is the Structural 2-light geo in milk glass from West Elm. I love it because it’s so different from much of what is out there. You can get it with multiple shade options but this particular shade was the right size and shape for my project. I’ve attached the pic that shows the whole thing but you may need to maximize it to see it all. Here’s a link to the fixture: https://www.westelm.com/products/sculptural-2-light-geo-pendant-milk-w3787/?pkey=s~sculptural 2-light metal pendant~35.
