RL Relocation, do you know of adaptable wall plates lite the Tech Lighting one you linked to? That one requires specific pendants and states "currently only compatible with halogen and xenon pendants".

I would love to be able to have my electrician wire a pendant of my choosing to a wall plate like that to create a custom sconce. Thanks, you always have some great solutions.

This could be a diy or handyman who can create an arm. there are lots of examples, I typed in wall sconce on arm for example. or by premade like these the pendant itself can be dropped lower.
