The table is perfect, from scale to texture to coloration. A fine choice. I really love linlac's rug recommendation as well. A couple other suggestions, if I may... Add some simple panels on the windows, not to cover, only to frame and finish. Use whatever rug you select as a color reference or follow through on your monochromatic palette. A course sheer or casement would look terrific. Metal hardware. Avoid the obvious and use bronze instead of nickel. Hang them higher than the window frame and take them to the floor without a break or puddle at the floor. Remove the palms from the lamp tables and add lamps. The palms are also much too small. Try using only one large palm. 8' tall at a minimum. go big or don't do it at all. Appropriate scale is paramount in spare serene environments like this. Tall somewhat slender lamps. I will follow up with some specific recommendations shortly. Also, they need not match. Perhaps a table lamp on one side and a floor lamp on the other, used in conjunction with the table. If you do use a larger palm, place it in a decorative cachepot or some other more appealing container. Turn the mirror to hang vertically. It will enhance height and space impression. Place an unusual floral of some kind on the cocktail table and nothing else. Orchid, grasses, dogwood blossoms,etc. You have a beautiful start here. Have fun!
