Just making sure my vote is on what I picked - it it’s the first pic of the ”collage” & last pic of series. IMO the black white busy granite is too busy with BS & doesn’t complement either floor or cabs. But, you’re looking at 2 different products each with it’s own pros & cons. I’ve had both & am happy with both. If you really want granite, I’d keep looking for a quieter pattern with warmer white - they are out there somewhere.

With your beautiful backsplash, I would go with a countertop that will not compete visually for attention. I suggest going with a quartz countertop with the same undertone as the backsplash.

the salmon is an interesting piece. I think that would be good.. It has a little of the amber in the veins here and there. it ties with your floor and splash and I like that its subtle. Contrasting pieces as in the black always have their place but you found that salmon colored one so I'd get it. Remember..its laid on the horizontal so it will be even more subtle and subdued than the propped up image shows .

I would just check whether that quartzite is a "true" quartzite. Many stones sold as quartzites are actually marble, and behave like marble in the way of etching. Though many people love marble and don't care about the etching, so how do you feel about it.

If you can get a sample, you can try the scratch test - scratch it with a knife; if it is marble it will scratch easily, if it is quartzite it might leave a faint scratch or nothing at all. Or put a couple of drops of lemon juice on it; if it's marble, it will etch. If it is quartzite, it will wipe up like new.

It's always hard to tell from pics, but I"m seeing pink in the first one, and your cabinets have more of a creamy undertone, and too white in the second.
