Such a beautiful rose. I just got her last fall. So she is new. But she is one of the loveliest roses I have ever had the pleasure of growing. I am so happy that I tried my hand with Teas again.

I do, do alot of research, I read books, or find them on threads. When I see a rose interested in. I research about it, in books, on hmf, on old threads on houzz/ garden web. I get all information I can on it, decide if it should grow well here, and where I can buy it from. Something about the rose, or what people write about it has to catch my attention, then draws me in to find out all I can about it. I thoroughly enjoy reading the old garden web threads, they are packed full of useful and captivating information.

She hasn't opened all the way yet , but I love her. I love all the different subtle coloring she had, so very beautiful. I think General Gallieni will be a favorite as well. He is still in bud though.

Alana when your rose grows up, please put a picture on here of the entire bush. I am asking because HMF says it gets 31 inches high. A midget tea rose? There is one photo of an entire bush on HMF which is at least 5-6 feet high, so I think the "31 inches" is a mistake. Would love to know how high it gets in your climate when mature.

Lovely rose, for sure. I love reds which fade towards the blue end of the spectrum.

I sure will Jackie! I think I read she will climb. I believe it. She is new and has a 4 foot cane, I think she likes it here. The feeling is mutual. I love her colors!

I want two other teas, I think it may be kinda similar coloring, but I still want to try them. They are Comtesse Emmeline de Guigne and Comtesse Festetics Hamilton.
