Look at your kitchen several different times throughout the day and think "Is this the first thing I want people to see when entering my home?". If the answer is yes, you'll probably be okay removing the wall to nowhere. If the answer is at ANY time no, don't remove the wall.

At least you don't have to worry about it being structural. You can take it right down. . .To move forward, take some time to draw a layout plan of the entire floor. Take measurements and include them. Include windows and doors. You can do it to scale on graph paper. Then post a picture we came read the measurements on. Large size. You'll get ideas from people. An example of what can be done. If your frig is at the entrance end of the kitchen you can finish that side off with a 12" deep pantry facing the entrance. You look at cabinet doors floor to ceiling when you enter.
