You just have to be careful with white tile because your cabinets are white - make sure they are compatible whites. Bring home samples and look at them over the course of several days and at different times of the day to make sure it's the right white. If you have trouble with whites, move in the direction of gray, but then you have to make sure it is the right gray to go with the countertop. :-)

Thank You @kandrewspa ! The white tile matches the cabinets perfectly but not sure if I need some contrast or if it's good that the tile blends into the cabinets? I'll post a pic of what I have so far. Ty again I appreciate the help !

Wow your countertop looks so similar to mine! At least in your installed photos anyway. Do you remember what yours was called? Mine was labeled Leathered Sea Pearl, but it is darker than any other Sea Pearl quartzite I’ve seen. Anyway I haven’t chosen a backsplash yet either, but I’m leaning toward an elongated subway, probably a matte light gray. I’ll be following your post :)

@jaja06 Thank you my countertops are called " Blue storm " I believe? But look more dark gray with darker slate  blue veining. I'm still debating if I should go with white that matches the countertops perfectly or gray ?? How did you make out ? I'm still doing floors too !

It’s hard to tell which is which if they’re not both in the picture! I think I like the white better. The gray tone seems a bit off with your counter. Although one thing I learned with this counter is it is impossible to photograph. We’re waiting for our cabinets to come in for the other half of our kitchen, then we’ll be able to get the counters done there, then try to decide on a backsplash. I don’t want to decide until all of that is installed. But my favorite so far I think has been a whiteish marble that had almost zero veining. I think I like something that’s basically just on the line between white and gray.

I am thinking the simple white backsplash might provide a quiet backdrop to layer in your champagne bronze faucet and hardware and allow them to standout more.

i personally would not want to introduce more gray to your kitchen.

and if doing subway, i would use a stack pattern vs. offset. simplier/less 'busy'

A white subway tile might work well, you just need to make sure you get samples and have adequate lighting. Using LED lighting will help you most. Here are a few kitchen designs of ours which might aid you a little more in this dilemma.
