@murraysmom Zone 6a OH, that's interesting how you color matched without consciously trying to do so.

Fun, they were what was here when I bought the house. They had the kitchen done in that French country blue color which was ok for awhile but when I ended up painting the whole interior I really wanted a different color in the kitchen. Also when I bought the house, it seemed like the window trim and sills in every room were a different color. That really bugged me. When all was painted white, it was a huge relief mentally. LOL All my colors, yellows and greens, are very soft and muted colors. Very calming. So different from the dark, very colorful walls when I moved in.

I like the black ones even though for many years I had the porcelain ones. Our old cabinets are in the basement now for tool storage and they still have those knobs. We did an expensive kitchen gut over two decades ago and my knobs could not be any cheaper except for four expensive drawer pulls. They are tiny wooden shaker pulls... some painted ivory and the others sage green to match the cabinets.

Only problem I see is that they may be difficult to keep straight (which would drive me crazy). A round knob doesn’t create that problem.

I would want the hinges (if exposed) to match.

I have a lot of square knobs, and they all have a small spike bump that prevents them from rotating, once they are tightly installed.

Started changing the knobs. I also decided to mount them at an angle like the top set in this picture

Interesting. I like it. I never would have thought to try that. My OCD (imagined) would have the knobs square up with the cabinet door. But this other way is good too.

I'd have to have them square too.

When seeing both together I want them squared, because my brain FEELS that's the correct positioning. I am sure once they are all on the diamond they look nice.
