Hi all, house is a few weeks old. Earlier in the week I noticed some spots that weren't there before on our pavers on our lanai. Today I noticed more spots and seemingly the same type of stain on the granite counter of our ourdoor kitchen.

I am at a complete loss. We haven't used the ourdoor kitchen at all in the last couple of weeks and overall have only used it maybe 3 times. The ceiling is clean & clear. The entire area is screened in as we have a pool cage. There have been no rusty cups, drippy pots or pans, etc. in this area. They literally seem to just be showing up out of nowhere but AFAIK that is impossible.

I've been studying and surveying for the last hour and I see no clues beyond the stains themselves. We have a saltwater pool but it is a few feet outside the lanai. The only thing I can say is the stains are orange-ish, about the same color as a layer of rust that forms overnight on unprotected metal. And, the spots are generally roughly circular, from the size of a dime up to the largest on the counter which is almost the shape of one of those small powdered donuts in a bag at the supermarket.

Any possible answers or ideas are appreciated, we are growing a little deparate :( I am thinking of putting down some plastic sheeting over this whole area to see if I can capture something in liquid form.

Also, any suggestions on cleaning? I think I've had a little luck cleaning the pavers (will know more when they dry) but not sure what to do with the granite. A mild daily cleaner didn't do anything.
