I recently transplanted a Japonica Camellia from its original nursery container to a raised bed. The container soil appears to be mostly peat moss. The raised bed soil is about 25% redwood compost, 12% ligna peat, 12% sand, 11% horticultural lava, 10% Turface, and 30% clay loam. I am noticing black spots on some of the leaves, and I am not sure if those were there previously or if they are happening after the transplant. If this is a fungal problem, how do I determine if this is systemic or topical, and how can I treat it?
