Can we get a diagram with the room measurements, including the distance the column sits from walls?

Make use of the post. Back the sofa to the post. Use opposite wall for movie screen.

This is what we had previously the issue we were having is where the post sits it makes it so it is such a tight space with the couches and it leaves so much open dead space in all other areas.

I like @elcieg idea of incorporating it into something built in like a bar or something. You're right, it's a long awkward space. I threw this together quickly, maybe something like this?

Cynthia that’s not a bad idea.I could incorporate a wet bar because there is already plumbing on that inside wall.

Do you not think it cuts off the room even more though? Also not being able to see the projector from the bar is kind of inconvenient.

Then you would just swap the location of the game area and the screen.
