All I can say is good luck. I have seen no true whites in any quartzites that were not of a "risky" nature (lots of issues with edge bleed and staining). I wound up doing quartz as I don't care for the warmer tones. Pretty sure your stone in the pics is marble.

i found a few samples inhad from when i purchased the srone on the buffet .

one was the nambian sky that i chose , other two were asian staruary and mont blanc

i just put lemon and vinegar on all 3 blocks and all 3 now have etch marks

Iceberg, but you will pay a premium for it.

Be careful. I tested an iceberg slab and it failed. Depends on the slab.

Yes they are the same - I have seen slabs labeled with each, but they are the same thing. Do the glass test as well. That definitely failed, big time, for me.

the taj with the white cabinets looks beautiful. I really like it, but i feel that sometimes it leans more towards tans, than grey. i was hoping to have a light grey and white countertop, as i am removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room, and the grey will work better coordinating with my current dining room.

I agree - I looked at lots of Taj during my search, and none looked right for a cool white kitchen, to me. They were all very warm. And not that warm can't go with white, but for me, I wanted cool, bright white, with some gray - no tans or anything remotely beige.

if tryung to tie the dining riom i to the kitchen space wasnt avfactore, id choose Taj and br fone with it its gorgeous , no issurs , and looks pretty white cabinets . but it just wont work well with my dining rioom, which will now be open to snd visible with my kitchen with the wall removed

I installed Cristallo in the end, although we considered Taj. My cabinets are very white, but I love the combo. Sorry about the rather messy kitchen photo, but you get the idea hopefully. The colors are not grey/white, but lean more brown and white, which is what I wanted (so, warmer).

You had better pick quartzite based on porosity and whether or not it's real quartzite, not looks or love. Personal tests only please.

100% real joseph. quartzite from brazil piurchased from s reputable fabricstor thar we have been doing business with for 9 years Personally tested by us with glass ( it scrarched the glass) , lemon and , vinegar,. all 3 no issues.
