Hi, after specifically telling him not to do this, our contractor caulked around all the wood trim in our house. After six months the caulk is starting to separate from the baseboards and worse yet, it traps dirt and is starting to look really bad. Our hardwood floors are really great and I would like to get rid of the caulk, Has anyone used any of the caulk remover products out there? Most seem like they are for shower, tub caulk. I don't know what kind of caulk our contractor used but will find out. I spoke with a hard wood floor company and they recommended putting in new trim but I'm not sure we are ready for this step. I'm happy to apply some elbow grease to this - our house is not that big!
