Wall Mounted Faucet & Bucket Sink
Hello Houzz gurus!
Please help. My husband and I bought this sink and faucet for our mudroom.

They are installing it now and I'm freaking out. I cannot believe how far forward the spout is. Its like an 1" from the front of the sink!! I know this was a smaller sink but all of the pictures show similar faucets. I assume there's nothing we can do short of buying a different faucet??!!! Does anyone want a brand new Kingston Brass antique brass faucet? $150!! Any advice would be great. I thought the faucet connections would be more inside the holes and in the BACK of it. Just want to make sure they didn't install it wrong. They guys working are great but I don't want to insult them by questioning if its correct. Would love other's opinions first.

I realize some of those can be used for the sink, but w/a projection of 8" or more, they usually need to go on the wallyou sink needs somehting like this.
even this one isn't too much better than yours. would have been better on the wall
I can't believe those installers didn't realize what they did and bring it to your attention. smh
return the faucet and get one w/a shorter projection.- 4 years ago
The spout is just part of it. The way the handles project so far over the sink is just as bad. And you can't swing them out of the way. The waterworks are consuming a full third of an already smallish sink. Thick fireclay & backsplash take away even more space. If you want a fully functional sink, try to look past the eye candy & get something more basic & utilitarian. It is OK for mudrooms to be humble spaces. :-)
Minimal projection of the faucet body ^^ and more user friendly top mount handles/ stems. (T & S commercial faucet)

These two examples are better suited for mounting on 'backsplash sinks" where the splash is an integrated part of the sink. The one that you chose is suitable for mounting on the wall above the sink.
