You did it!!

The only dwarf I'm growing this year is Dwarf Black Angus, which isn't on your list. Think I read that it's tasty and productive, which are the qualities I wanted.

LOVE the dwarf tomatoes. I'll be getting mine in the ground today. This year I'm growing BrandyFred, Tastywine, Caitydid, Purple Heart, Sweet Scarlet, Stonybrook Heart, and Summersweet Gold. :)

Once I have the energy I have a few dwarf tomato seedlings to move to buckets and grow bags... This year I have:

Dwarf Artic Rose - MMMM swap

Fuzzy Wuzzy - from Bunny Hop

Utyonok - from Bunny Hop

Puck - From Miss Penn's Mountain Seeds so far a small sturdy plant with rugose leaves.

Cherokee Tiger Black -from Etsy sturdy plant with rugose leaves

Of course I do have a few other bucket plants that don't fall under dwarf such as

Lucinda - from Etsy, a carrot leaf plant that is supposed to be compact

Northern Light (not Lights) another early red from Miss Penn's Mountain Seed supposedly a compact plant with full size beefsteaks

Large Barred Boar is a small plant for me so adding it here.

Here's a mid June update. Hopefully some of these flowers will set fruit during these relatively ( less than 90f) days. I'm thinking of "helping" the pollination with an electric toothbrush. It's been windy. Anybody thoughts about whether "helping" is worth it?

Another update. It's been very hot most days, but there are a few fruit! Fortunately the plants are still small enough to use shade cloth over the pea fence cages.

Last week when we hit 99, I lost my summer sweet gold. A few of the leaves outer edges got burnt, and it just spread with the next few hot days, so I pulled it out. All of my others are looking good - flowers, but no fruit yet. Granted, I did get them in a bit late due to the cold spring, but I have high hopes for the rest of the season. :)

Great thread. Thanks for showing pics of each tomato variety. How did that Crimson Sockeye taste? i almost planted those, Started a couple but never planted them out.

Thank you @calamondindave. I'm embarrassed to say I am not a sophisticated tomato taster. I mostly make gazpacho

or roast them.

I grow Crimson Sockeye regularly, because it usually does well in my garden.

I grow a lot bicolor tomatoes, looking for the flavor and texture of our family favorite "Pinapple". I always taste for that, and they have never met that standard , but they are usually good and pretty.

I like striped ones too

@nanelle_gw (usda 9/Sunset 14) Have you tried the Caitydid? Similar in colors and taste as pineapple - IMHO.

2023 Dwarf's for sure. I no longer work as a grower, so my space is more limited this year. I've got Tastywine, Brandyfred, dwarf purple heart, sweet scarlet. I messed up my Caitydid. I went to rip off the lower leaf about a month ago. I should have remembered that the dwarf is so much hardier, and the leaf did not want to tear off. I ended up tearing the stem, which then became woody, and it never recovered. I just ripped it out, but did take 2 cuttings, so we will see. It was super productive last year, and it is just gorgeous.....

Nanelle - you are growing Caitydid? What else?
