We're furnishing a newly built home in a 55+ St. Augustine community and need suggestions for the great room (17'4" x 20'). My husband has his heart set on a motion sofa with four seats and reclining ends. I'd like something modern with clean lines. Please, no cup holders, theater seating or anything that looks too poofy. We would be fine with buying online but would prefer to test the comfort level in person. Also trying to avoid the dreaded gap in material on the back of the sofa when it's reclining, particularly as it will be placed in the center of the room backing up to the kitchen island. We're currently living in Atlanta and have looked at Macy's, Haverty's and Basset so far. Haven't yet gone to Pottery Barn or high end stores. Ideas appreciated!
