Long, rectangular planters below lights or along rails.

I would add a couple large flower pots, a larger chair or rocker on either side. Then a large outdoor rug to breakup some of the space since its so large. Depending on how ambitious you are a bunch of potted annual flowers. You will get compliments like crazy.

You can also add lanterns and depending on where you live, the topiary hibiscus would be a beautiful and easy option

I would keep things a bit more on the formal side. Grandin Road and Frontgate both have lots of lovely planters and other decor I think fit the style of your house well. I’d do a bench and planters, a larger double door mat, and not a lot of small decor.

Sorry, lousy mock-ups, but my ideas … and bench or benches if there’s room.

Of course if you want color, you could find pots like these in whatever colors you like, and have a variety of flowers.

love these ideas ! Thank you!!

I like Jinx’s simple ideas. Not a fan of little cluttery stuff filling a porch and stairs. You have a big house - you need big decor.

It’s hard to tell the dimensions of the stoop , other than it’s large. I agree tall pots would be best. I couldn’t find a picture with large rug and tall pots in same photo. I’m a floral designer so I’m all about the eye catching flower pots with color. I know styles can vary somewhat depending on location. Some areas put wreaths on doors and where I’m at not so much.

Below are three front porch designs which might help. Please note the mats, plants, bench, and outside light.
