Here are some seedlings I like that have bloomed today and yesterday.

Grandma's Smile x Bubblegum Delicious 1 - I liked the flower on this one last year when it first bloomed. The scapes and flower are a bit bigger than last year, and it has a few more buds.

The sepals will roll back later in the day.

Jungle Queen X Applique 2 - This one takes after Applique in the flower''s appearance. This is an FFE.

I suppose because so many of my eye/edge ones are blooming now I am drawn to the intense color of A Little Night Music. The seedlings are all pretty but my heart belongs to Grandma’s Smile seedling!

A little Night Music is very nice, must be a year for dark eyes for me. Mystical Intuition is really pretty. You are already getting some nice seedlings, I especially like the 3rd one.

I am always intrigues by your seedlings, its fun to see what you created and how they perform from season to season. Mystical Intuition is my favorite of the group, love that edge.

Sherry - I'm glad you enjoy seeing the seedling and getting updates about their performance. I love that Mystical Intuition's edge matches its patterned eye!

Nancy and Kate - A Little Night Music is striking. I have it growing in a bad place, so it never multiplies much. I wanted to move it last fall, but I ran out of time. Maybe it will get some prime real estate after it finishes blooming.

Nancy - The seedling you like looks better in photos than it does in real life. It does usually have a full set of teeth all around the edge, if it's the same one I'm remembering from last year.

Kate - I agree with your sentiments about the Grandma's Smile seedling. Last year, its sibling had three times the buds, but wasn't quite as pretty. I look forward to seeing how that sister does this year. Bud counts are down on both registered daylilies and seedlings because of the lack of water, but the seedlings seem to have fared a bit better than my registered earlies. I started watering them a couple of weeks ago - but not early enough to make much of a difference in bud formation.

Love Aerial Applique color. Good pic of it. Mystical Intuition is quite stunning to my eyes. The edge color with the tiniest bit of ruffle and the eye is intriguing. Nice group. And then there are your babies. You do have a knack for producing some nice crosses.

A little Night Music and your second seedling are the ones I like best.

Brad - Thanks for your comments! This is the first year of bloom for that seedling you like. I hope it will improve its stats next year. Last year it got accidentally mowed down a couple of times. The sibling bloomed last year, and this year has very tall scapes.

Debra, I agree with Brad. I love the sharp contrast of petal and eye color of A Little Night Music. All of your seedlings are nice, but the applique on the second one is outstanding. Good job!
