My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Replacement Windows

Hi everyone,


I can desperately use your help. In 2017 we installed Milgard replacement windows in my house outside of Denver, CO. My house was built in 1987 and the old wood windows need to be replaced. We are getting ready to do another remodel, and are going to replace 11 windows upstairs. In our contract I had requested Milgard, and now the contractor is sending me a drawing for an Alside Mezzo window, saying they are better than the Milgard Montecito that we previously installed.


I would prefer to keep replacing with Milgard, but if I can't.....what other brands would you experts recommend? And thoughts on Alside Mezzo? Thank you so much!!
