they look nice debra!..I love Amalia's long leaves..

even though I used squirrel rocks when I moved Empress Wu yesterday....I walked out this morning and 2 stems are broken 😡..

squirrels are so aggravating..

So many new ones, hope they all do well! for some reason the squirrels dont bother my in the ground hosta, they dig in my potted hostas. the ”forktress” helps some……NW??

Sherry..I tried the "forktress" on my pots..didn't stop them 🙁.. and they dig near newly planted inground hostas..

I've found broken perimeter stems on several old hosta..are the squirrels hitting them as they run?..is it rabbits?..don't know 🤷‍♀️..

Rabbits are my hosta foes……….they have chewed off every leaf on a 2 ft. diameter hosta. Last season they got my Dream Queen I had been nursing along for 3 years.…..every leaf.

What a great selection, some classics and some newer intros. So glad you got your Cupatini. I hope the squirrels leave them alone.

Ann & Sherry you have some nasty foes, critters can be so destructive. Deer are my nemesis but I have a groundhog that is being a trouble maker this year. It took a flower off a Filipendula and has been giving my Phlox the Chelsea chop. Grrr. I am going out to spray Bobbex today.

Lovely, I like seeing all your new ones. Such great choices. Who's digging under your Amalia? We have chipmunks that do that. At least until the dog gets them. Dogs chasing chipmunks is the most damaging to my Hosta. I must say, your Teeny Weeny Bikini is looking very nice this year.

Thanks for the compliments everyone! The stones were an idea I came up with when the squirrels were digging around the base of my mouse ears. I also use them to mark where they are so I don’t step on them. I hope the new ones do well. Things are getting crowded….. :-)

I have ordered few replacements for ones that I know did not make it. Etched glass was one that did not grow for me...

I have to say it did transplanted and survived for me, planted in a lot of sun for me.

lindalana..thanks!..here's an older pic of that bed..this was taken earlier in the season..it's sunnier because the trees aren't fully leafed out..

see the pachysandra lower left corner?..it covered about the same size area as the hosta across from it..it's been removed (still a few coming up here and there)..now I'm working on planting hosta in that space..
