Another plea for paint help

I wish I was better at this, but I digress.

We are buying a small house for rental. Every wall will be painted. The house has very few windows and some big trees, so it doesn't get much light. I will be painting it light, with white trim. But over the years, I've had tenants tell me that they really don't like bright white walls. I would do one of the omnipresent colors like Agreeable Gray, but the floors are throwing me.

The floors are fairly recent, so they're staying. They are LVP. And very orange. And in the whole house. So, which direction should I go with a light color to work with them? I tried looking for pictures of white walls with honey oak floors, but I'm not having much luck. The picture is just inside the door, but on my screen it looks pretty accurate.

SW Natural Linen. It's a warm neutral. Used it on one room so far and want to repaint the whole house with it! The room we used it in is north facing and was previously painted Revere Pweter. The difference with Natural Linen is amazing, so much brighter.

A simple white would be my choice. Paint and floors can only do so much work in a room. I like BM Swiss Coffee, personally.

Yes, Swiss Coffee! I used it in the basement of our last house. We needed bright, but I didn't want inside-the-refrigerator white. Excellent, option, thanks.

BM Alabaster seems to be trending.

I really like BM Manchester Tan. We used it in both of our DD’s co-ops. No matter the exposure, it looks good.

We also used it in a basement.

I see Manchester Tan described as yellow undertones. I am tone deaf. Will that further accentuate the orange floor, or subdue it?

Edit: I like Alabaster. A hint of color but not too much.

I think an off white will appeal to the most people.

However, if you did want to do a tint of color Sherwin Williams Glimmer 6476 would be pretty with the floor.

Glimmer looks like a very cool toned icy green on my monitor.

I am not sure how light or dark you would like to go with your wall color.

I think your floors look beautiful! Swiss coffee is a very nice color.

I would use a light gray, perhaps something lighter than Agreeable Gray. Orange and gray and white is a great combination. And no matter what you do it won’t go with anyone’s furniture, but as gray is still so popular I would stick with what people like and expect.
