Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but without roots, it's pretty much a goner.

I assume all the roots were rotten?

Toss, it and start over. I really see no sign of life.

It appears you've allowed this plant to go too long without watering. Put the roots in water and let them soak for a few days and see what happens. Don't let water get onto the crown, just the roots. At this point you have nothing to lose. There are videos on YouTube about how to revive an orchid without roots, but I've never had the need to try it.
