Deutzia in my book, too. It seems happy and healthy where it is, as long as someone stops pruning it at the wrong time. It would be far more floriferous if only pruned immediately after flowering.

Got it, thanks :) A tree company did the severe pruning last year when a tree fell right next to it. The poor thing was practically shredded!
