Marble Counter Incorrect Cutting/Installation

Have just had two matching countertops and backsplashes installed on opposite walls of my kitchen. The stone cutter measured from the wall to have them flush with the drawers below and appliances next to them, but after installing today I see the counter tops extend beyond the appliances, as well as the fact that the countertops are slightly on a diagonal lengthwise (so the part you see in the picture sticks out further than on the far side) so that if I were to have them cut lengthwise to be flush with the appliances, the sink and oven (both of which have been cut into the marble…the sink is visible in this pic) would no longer be parallel to the edge as they currently are but on a diagonal themselves. Any thoughts on how to fix this? Am I correct to be unhappy/should the stone cutter fix it or supply a new piece if need be?

Thanks
