Absolutely get a good landscape plan. You have room to pull it forward and make it lush.

Agree you need landscaping. You need some height to the right of the door and something to hide the meters. Then bring the garden further out into the yard, maybe a wider walk. The wreath isn't complementing the home. I think a glossy black door would look nice (just the door not the sidelights).

Your house is very attractive as is and your roof, trim, and brick work well together, the landscaping not so much. the cone shaped plants and ground cover have a neat well maintained look but the bushy plants look kind of random and scraggly. either more of something or nothing but groundcover would look better IMHO.

I have no idea how to make your house look bigger and way out of your zone so no plant suggestions. Perhaps you can go to a local plant nursery and find someone to help with a landscape design?
