I'm replacing the tile that are in the waterline ot my pool. They were very dated and a few had started to fall off
I used a demolition hammer to remove them, but most of the old thinset is still there, and is almost impossible to remove. Can I lay new tile on top of the old thinset, or do I need to remove this?
Also, the concrete that is at the top of the pool wall, just under the brick coping, crumbled away with some of the tile. Can I just use grout to patch this, or what do you recommend?
