Kitchen sink clog at 6 feet deep?

I am having this kitchen sink drain clog issue so I first used a 25 feet auger to unclog it. I pushed the auger all the way in and then pulled it back. Tested it and the issue was still there. I thought perhaps the clog is deeper than 25 feet so I tried another 50 feet auger. But this auger is so hard to use and I could only manage to push it in for about 5 or 6 feet and could not push any further and eventually I gave up. I then used the 25 feet auger and pushed it all the way in again and then pulled it back. Now I want to know where the clog is so I poured water in the sink and the water started to back up after I poured in 130 fluid oz water. The pipes are 2 inch diameter so I did a math to calculate how long the pipe is if I poured 130 fluid oz water in and surprisingly I got 73 inch which is only 6 feet. Now I got really confused because I already pushed in the 25 feet auger twice and if the clog is only 6 feet deep then it should already be unclogged. Am I missing something here? Anything else I can try?

Why would the disposer cause it to drain but it doesn't drain with it turned off? Not a plumber so I'm just curious.

I know you have PVC pipes but: I had a clog in a tub drain and it was a slab house with all the drains under concrete. Someone suggested first trying baking soda/vinegar before resorting to the drain cleaner which can be hard on metal pipes. Basically you put a quarter cup of soda with a minimal amount of water down there, let it sit for a bit, then add a cup of vinegar. The foaming action can help release the clog. It worked at least partially, and I followed up with just a little drain cleaner. Voila, no more clog.

Obviously you're missing the clog. Does your snake have a little cone shaped end on it? If no springy shaped cone it could just poke through the clog with a lot of grease and plug right back up when it's pulled back.

If it has a cone spring thing on the end did it it catch any junk that you can see? Hair, grease, stuff like that.

How old is your house? What kind of pipes? Galvanized pipe slowly corrodes and fills in the pipe from the outside in. If your pipes are older, get a plumber and get the lines scoped. If you have older pipes, aggressive declogging, or even just running water, could burst the pipe. Speaking from painful experience.

The house is about 24 years old. Under the sink the pipe is PVC.

Yes. the auger has a cone spring thing on the end. The first time it did catch some hair and grease.

From another post on Houzz someone recommended rubber bladder and I am going to give it a try. Right now if i turn on the food disposer the water will drain so I think the rubber bladder is the same idea. just not sure if it make a big difference than the food disposer. Hopefully it does not cause any damage to the piping or simply push the clog deeper.

Thanks for the tip. I was going to try the vinegar thing today. As a first step I thought it is better to dump some hot water to pre-warm the pipe and then turn on the food disposer to force it to drain. I did 2 or 3 times and was about to dump the vinegar and to my surprise there was no more clog. So I may still do this vinegar/baking soda thing once a while as a preventive measure but right now the drain appears to be good.

We also Have the same issue our house is only seven years old PVC piping that runs 25 feet long we’ve done the sneaking and open the air vent nothing is working can you give us some advice of what worked for you we have to style kitchen sink and as soon as you turn on the water both fill up and don’t drain
