They are working on a software fix. Not many at Miele USA have a grip on reality, dumb as a box of rocks period.

Finding a timeframe for resolution for bleach dispenser issue may be hard to nail down. Germany is aware of issue. Use Miele Ultra White powder for whites etc vs bleach in mean time. Or better yet do get unit software updated, and don't use bleach at all. Miele used to frown on bleach years ago. The powder is excellent btw. True to dose scoop included.

Hi, Mark. Truly, Miele support is hopeless. I’m so glad to hear that there is a software bug… that, I can handle. I very rarely use bleach but when my teenage son comes home from boarding school with his “white” uniform shirts, you could understand why I’d want to go with bleach. But the truth of the matter is, this washing machine is so good that the shirts came out clean using tide oxy and the heavy soil dress shirt setting. I had a W1986 that lasted 19 years without one service call. The drum finally wore out. I was sad, but I truly love this new washer.

Thanks for that link, Mark. I think the work-around of adding diluted bleach to the rinse cycle through the detergent dispenser is acceptable for now considering how infrequently I use LCB.
