Bosch 300 Washing machine-getting it to start.

Its brand new. Turned the dial and "pressed" start on control panel. Hearing double beeps and nothing is happening. Have tried several cycles. Same. Electronics etc are working and all is properly plugged in. But stackable dryer is working.

Has anyone ever had this problem?

not silly at all...Thats what ive been wondering as well--- installer is now on the way so that will be checked-- thanks for responding

Is the door completely closed? I ask this because on my Bosch it can feel and appear like you closed it but I have to give it a final firm push to completely close the door.

Yep, agree with Greg. It sounds like the door is not entering "lock mode" as evident by the double beep. You can try to loosen the two torx screws and adjust the latch and see if the door latches correctly.
