OMG remove!!! They don’t even cover a whole window!😆 Really nice house; did you just buy?

Thanks for your thoughts. Did not purchase recently but trying to update. I guess a triple window like this should technically never have shutters given the cover the window rule? I am concerned about how removal will leave the brick. They are mounted tight and have been there since around 1988. Time to call a professional! 😊

What a lovely house! Even though I love shutters, I think removing them is best. Also, I’m no pro but something about the white rails and posts doesn’t seem right to me. I have no suggestions, but hopefully someone else will chime in - if I’m not totally off base.

Connecticut Yankeeee...thanks for your comment. Do you think a dark hand rail would help?. Something that coordinates with cedar shakes between windows under arch and front door. Here are a few examples but these both have dark shutters also.
