First Bloom of 2022

This is Iowa Rose a bonus bulb last year from The Lily Garden and my first bloom other than the martagons. The bulb was medium size and it gave me two stalks with 4 flowers each!


Very pretty pink with rather floppy stems but I'm sure it will be taller and stronger next year! Good start to the season I guess!

    Hi!

    So, I have two varieties that I ordered as loose bulbs from eBay. They were planted in pots and kept in a rather warmish furnace room so they got a good head start which is why I think they're blooming earlier than my others.

    This is supposed to be Altari which I have been trying to get for a couple of years now and always seem to be sent something equally as nice but not Altari. What do you think? It looks quite similar in color to Passion Moon which I got by mistake last year. Just a few flowers but each of 5 bulbs is going to bloom. Those of you out there with Altari, do yours have this hint of shaded yellow around the edges? This is what Passion Moon has too. Does anyone have a close-up of their Altari?




    The second one is supposed to be Honeymoon. I was surprised at the intensity of the yellow color as I expected something much paler. Now I also have Conca D'or but it's nowhere near to blooming and from my pictures last year this is what it looks like but I never got a really good close-up. Do any of you have Honeymoon that looks like mine? Just gorgeous! What do you think?




    I'd just like to get a proper ID as I'm afraid I might be just doubling up on varieties I already have.
