What a fun quilt. I like each block better than the other. There really should be a committee for each quilt because you like making tops, I like selecting fabrics, someone else likes quilting....

What an amazing bit of handiwork...and I agree with Rho...I love quilting and hate selecting fabrics....it's try many heads are better than one!

but must you use bias binding or will straight grain work if the curve is shallow?

What a wonderful quilt! And 6" blocks. I can't imagine how small some of those pieces are. Glad you got it done. I've never made rounded corners, but need to try.

Thanks, girls. Theresa, you can easily round corners with regular binding. I'm too lazy and thrifty to do a bias binding. I just take a saucer out of the kitchen and mark the corner radius. I don't cut it off yet. Then when you get to the corner, you just force generous amount of binding into the seam as you go around the corner. Sometimes there's a tuck but I don't intend it for a show anyway. Then trim off the fabric to your line and sew it down. I use it on bed quilts, too. It's a softer look. Good to hear from you.
