Many Many Blooms

This post will have many blooms. We are still dry. I am trying to water at night. I just need to remember to turn the hose off.

CLIFFJUMPER: This is the first ever bloom for me on this plant. I moved it last fall and have been rewarded. Both pictures were after 5:30 pm.

CRINTONIC SHADOWLANDS: Photo taken at 7:30 pm

    SOLAR MUSIC at 5:30 pm

The rest of the photos were taken before work.

    CLOWN PARADE: A favorite.

LEONARD SAUTER: A very large bloom

    SHERRY LANE CARR: A classic

COCKY AND BOLD by Bud Bennett

    HOT SEAT:

BORN TO BE AWESOME: Saved itself this year as it has typically bloomed in the foliage. This year it is above the foliage. I love the bloom.

    LEMON FRINGED PASTEL

    NINE INCH NAILS

    ETHEL BUCCOLA

    INQUIRE WITHIN

VISION SEEKER (apparently the photographer did not notice his hand was in the picture - rushing around like a maniac before work to get pictures)

    BELA LUGOSI

    CLARIFICATION:

    Time Lord

    MICHAEL BENNETT:

That is all for this post.

Wow, you are getting a lot of bloom. I've been looking at yellows lately to add and Solar Music looks very good. I'll have to look it up. I like the open and flat look of it. Hope you get some rain. Have you done the rain dance yet?lol.

    Julia,

Solar Music is one of my favorite yellows. It is tall and the blooms are consistently flat. It is one that I will always grow. By the way, if I tried to do a rain dance, it might end up snowing or I might get invaded by locusts, because I can't dance.

Vision Seeker has a big bold eye (as well as a blurry hand) that makes it a stand out...Solar Music is a golden yellow attention getter. Lemon Fringed Pastel looks light and refreshing on the opposite end of the yellow scale.......I like Time Lord too. Pretty color combination in your picture..............Maryl

It's interesting how plants both look and perform differently in different gardens. I always hated Solar Music because it never once opened flat for me in the all the years I grew it (more than 10). SM was more of a trumpet shape here. The clump of My Friend Olin is impressive, and I love the shade of pink on Born to Be Awesome. Vision Seeker has pleasant colors in your garden. I've seen some photos of it with a tannish petal color, so I never added it to my hot garden. I only wish my Clarification would look like yours. The color is much, much lighter and washed out here. I like all the colors your Lemon Fringed Pastel shows. Other photos I've seen of it just look yellow. Ethel Buccola looks much more orangey here. Michael Bennett has wonderful colors in your garden! Thanks for the nice show today!

I had Solar Music for a year. It was beautiful, opened nice and flat and very impressive. Sadly, it got crown rot. Born to be Awesome is a pretty pink. Cliffjumper really makes a statement. I love Time Lord.

A lot of plants have shot up this year (while a few others are short). One wonders what these plants will be like in future years. You were fortunate to get hold of Cliffjumper, as I seldom see it for sale. Keep us posted on its performance. For people in the work world, picture taking is indeed a challenge with so many blooms. Vision Seeker I still consider Derrow's finest.

I really like Cliff Jumper! Clown Parade and Hot Seat also catch my eye. We grow Vision Seeker here and it is a great grower.
