2 years ago, we took a sapling (with permission) from my uncles property. the sapling was in the woods and the woods are 90% white paper birch. we suspect the one we have is a white paper birch but how can we tell for sure? I don't like river birch trees as they are not attractive to the wife and i. Do I have a white paper or River Birch? here are some pictures:
