Yeah, you can just keep asking questions on the other thread, you had a lot of engagement there, now youre starting over. You have to determine what decor style you love and are heading for so you can bring your home together and it flows. So the question is, what decorating style do you want to live with? That lantern is ”transitional” to me, a very traditional shape with a more modern lack of glass and color. Its fine but may not fit in with how you want your kitchen to look in the long run. Pure white is pretty white, you can brighten up that area without super whitening it. I have SW Alabaster in my home, brightens it up but isnt stark.

never try to buy lights until you have it finished, and your table is in place. right now the pendants there are not lighting the counter and they have bright bulbs, if you put in cage lights the island will be even darker.

If you decide you don't want to paint, everything will change when you place new rugs in the space. It will significantly cut the amount of dark wood in the room.

Also the poor quality of light from the current fixtures needs to be addressed.

@BeverlyFLADeziner Thank you! That is amazing! What program do you use to do that? I appreciate it! Here are the light fixtures I’m considering. Lantern pendants over the kitchen island and crystal over a round table (you sent me a beautiful one)
Contractor is already scheduled to come add white moulding on the island where the Tile is. Painter is coming to do walls, trim and ceiling in SW Pure White, (all in different finishes) which I love. Thanks so much!

The rugs were installed on your photo using the tool on Rugs-Direct.com. The rest is done with MS Paint and an online tool called RemoveBG that removes the background in photos.

Sorry but I don't think the lanterns will supply you with enough light over the island.
