You have a lot of mice! They are all blooming nicely!

Your mouse hosta are all very full leafed plants. Very pretty, I like the short full flower stems.

They sure cute addition for the front of the bed. Have you found that some are more vigorous?

Most of my mice have reverted to Blue Mouse Ears--Mini skirt is the only exception. I have two large patches of them. I've given up on buying any more since I think that they aren't stable for me. I will have to look and see if mine are blooming.

lindalana, my Blue Mouse Ears (3) all do very well. One is over, 10 years old. Snow mouse is sun tolerant and has done well there. The Frosted ME does well too, part morning sun. It has an eye that sported yellow this year. I will have to see if that returns next year.The Ruffled ME I put in last year and I am surprised how well it is doing.

Either 5b or 6A I'm in a western suburb of Cleveland. Last winter we got some very cold spells without any snow to cover the ground. We can easily lose zone 6 plants. On the other hand, my heuchera that are in a small space between the patio and the house didn't die back last winter. I'm approximately 3 miles south of Lake Erie. Have other people had my problem with the mice reverting? I have purchased 5-6 of them and they either die or become Blue Mouse Ears. I have them at the front of a bed which includes other small and miniature hostas. Since I am running out of space, I have started planting small hostas in pots which do well and then I just move the pots around the yard. Only problem with that is the gray squirrels constantly dig in the pots.

Yes Debra I was not kidding when I said Ruffled ME was a fast grower! Happy that has been your experience.

miles Holy ME is the only one that regularly reverts for me. I keep taking out the reversions. All others are stable here.

Well miles, maybe you should try Ruffled ME…….maybe you’d have luck with that one.

Worth a try. I really like them but I don't need any more BME. When Wade and Gatton was still open, I used to love the way they had a small bed with all the mice in it. I envisioned having the same type of garden with a lot fewer varieties of course, but you get the idea.
