Pepperdish top is finished

I finally finished the hand applique on Pepperdish. It’s a Judy Niemeyer pattern, 42” square. She has a machine applique technique involving adhesive foundation paper and fabric glue. I tried a sample piece and quickly decided to go with hand applique.

I have 2 tops completed now so I will quilt them before starting another top.

Ooh, Donna, that's quite lovely. I've never tried one of her patterns. Maybe someday. And good for you for being so disciplined and having only two unquilted tops. I had eight once and five this last time. I have the last two sandwiched and am quilting the second to last one now.

Hi Donna, We're doing ok.....in the process of tossing, giving to family and donating as much as we can.......it's taking a long time. The plan is for us to move in with our daughter when her house remodel is complete. We can't keep up with repairs, mowing lawn, etc but, we're thankful we are not in pain. I'm still sewing, just not very much. :-)
